Our Favorite Dancing Moms Videos

Dancing Moms

Who says moms can’t let loose, have fun and bust a move? Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 14, and we’re celebrating moms everywhere by highlighting some of our favorite dancing moms.

Some moms have serious rhythm, while others aren’t afraid to let their goofy side shine through their crazy moves. No matter if your mom is a dancing queen or just a fan of dancing around the kitchen, it’s time to celebrate!

First up, the infamous Warriors Dancing Mom, Robin Schreiber. Robin, a mom and former middle school teacher, let her enthusiasm for dance shine bright on the jumbotron at a Golden State Warriors basketball game. She was rocking her best dance moves while wearing a fabulous Christmas sweater, when she was spotted by the Dance Cam. Her creative dance moves (and passion for fun) quickly led to her Dance Cam footage going viral. Her sweet dance moves have been shared millions of times across social media – she was even invited back to the court for an encore performance! A few short weeks later, Robin was ready to lead the Golden State Cheerleaders in a fun, funky holiday performance from center court. The crowd couldn’t get enough of this dancing mom!

Next, we have Heather Morris — TV star, dancing phenom and recent contestant on “Dancing with the Stars.” There is no doubt that this hot mama has got the moves! Before her breakout role as Brittany S. Pierce on Glee, Heather toured the world as a backup dancer for Beyoncé. She’s best known for rocking the stage during the legendary “Single Ladies” dance right alongside the Queen Bey during major performances like the Ellen DeGeneres Show, the American Music Awards and even the 50th Annual Grammy Awards.  If that’s not talent, we don’t know what is! Since working with Beyoncé, Heather has devoted time to raising her two sons Elijah and Owen, but that doesn’t mean she’s lost her touch! Most recently, Heather earned a perfect score on Dancing with the Stars for her Rumba with partner, Maks Chmerkovskiy. Controversially, Heather was voted off the show, despite her stellar performance in both her Rumba and the group number. Her journey on Dancing with the Stars may have come to an end, but there’s no doubt that this mom is going on to bigger and better things.

We couldn’t close out this list without throwing it back to the classic Evolution of Mom Dancing with supermom, Michelle Obama and mom-wannabe, Jimmy Fallon. This segment originally aired on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon in 2013 and features classic mom dance moves like The Sprinkler, the Happy Snapper and the Out-of-Sync Electric Slide. Michelle, of course, is mom to two beautiful daughters, Malia and Sasha, while Jimmy is more of a mom-impersonator. At least he’s got the outfit and the moves down! These two show that anyone can dance. Dancing is about expressing yourself and having fun . You don’t have to be classically trained to pull off a fun and exciting dance.
